Rum Cave

Inspired by the Caribbean’s Colonial Era rum distilleries, the authentic cellar design of the Rum Cave creates the perfect setting for the most essential of island spirits. Savor the taste of fine regional rums and cigars while watching mega yachts dock in the marina. Guests seeking rum alternatives will appreciate the bar's diverse offering of beers, wines, single-malt whiskeys, and handcrafted specialty cocktails.

Dine in an ambiance of intimacy and sophistication while the mood prevails of comfort and relaxed conversation. Patrons mingle over small plates as servers maneuver handcrafted wood trolleys to each table, laden with the day’s premium selection of specialty rums and cigars. Special rum tastings and blending sessions offer novices and connoisseurs, alike, the opportunity to expand their knowledge in an entertaining and informal Saint Lucian dining setting. In the evening, the beautifully lit lagoon casts a warm glow as diners enjoy a quiet drink or dessert in the spacious open-air lounge and bar.

Bayside Cafe

Mornings at Bayside Café in Marina Village are immersed with the colorful hues of the rising sun and enticing scent of freshly baked croissants. Guests may enjoy a relaxing breakfast while savoring the tropical scenery from the waterfront deck and patio. The breakfast menu is a combination of traditional Continental dishes along with authentic Saint Lucian favorites, such as salt fish, plantains, and cocoa tea.

By midday, Bayside Café hums with the pleasant energy of the Capella Marina. In the heart of this sought out nautical landing for the island, the café serves as a hub of activity for guests and boaters alike. Shoppers perusing the boutiques of the marina village can break for lunch or linger over late afternoon cocktails. The Grab-and-Go counter allows for those in a hurry access to freshly prepared snacks, sandwiches, drinks, and homemade ice creams. 

Each evening, the Bayside Café transforms into a vibrant meeting place for hotel guests, boaters, and locals to gather. Patrons watch their favorite sports teams while enjoying delicious appetizers and casual dining.

Named in recognition of Marigot Bay’s latitude and longitude, The Grill at 14⁰61⁰ is where Saint Lucian cuisine and culture seamlessly merge together. The signature restaurant is situated at the resort’s highest point, providing clear views of the marina and Marigot Bay below.

Indoor and outdoor spaces flow together charmed with Colonial Saint Lucian décor that creates a truly warm and inviting dining environment. Upon entry, attention is drawn to the restaurant’s focal point, a gorgeous open floor plan kitchen equipped with a handcrafted wood-burning grill. During breakfast and dinner, Capella chefs perform a version of “culinary theater” in full view of diners, adding a unique dash of flavor to each meal. For restaurant guests who wish to dine under the open sky, a set of sliding glass doors gives way to an al fresco patio overlooking the yachts moored in Capella Marina. Adjacent to the restaurant, the Grill’s open-air lounge and bar is the ideal setting for enjoying pre-dinner cocktails or relaxing after a meal.

More than a place of dining, The Grill at 14⁰61⁰ has an upscale, yet decidedly casual, destination where resort guests and Saint Lucians can enjoy simply prepared prime meat cuts, locally sourced fresh fruits and vegetables, and seafood seasoned with an assortment of indigenous herbs and spices picked directly from the hotel’s private garden.

Brut Bar and Pool Bar

Eat, drink, and relax under the Saint Lucian sun without ever having to leave the pool.

Take a few strokes over to the swim-up Pool Bar to enjoy some refreshing rum punch, Caribbean beers, and expertly mixed, frozen, and muddled cocktails or one of our refreshing “mocktails”. The adjacent Brut Bar, whose name is a nod to the French term for “raw,” features a selection of local ceviche, sushi plates, salads, and seafood dishes along with grilled burgers and sandwiches.

Soak in some rays from your lounge chair or cabana and allow our Pool Bar attendants to deliver a wide array of menu items served bento box-style. Order a chilled Mojito or a signature Frozen Paradise as a complement to your snack.

Throughout the day, a bar attendant serves energizer juices along with sweet and savory caramelized popcorn lollypops, rum-infused iced tea pops, and other refreshing treats. Promptly at 4:00 p.m., a rum barrel filled with coconuts appears for the afternoon sabering ritual. Our Saint Lucian Brut Bar and Pool Bar on Marigot Bay is open seven days a week.
